**This is a review of both books together since my ass didn't want to review before starting book two -- I'm a needy bitch and needed all the answers right away, but now I'm left with the cliffhangers of all cliffhangers?! Where's August at?

I don't usually do dark romances anymore with anti heroes, cause the ones I've read is basically just an excuse for the men to act like trash the whole book/series but its OK because he did it since he was "so in love" with the heroine. *major eye roll* and even though I knew this was book two of a three book series i told myself I would pace myself and everything would be fine, but this would SUCKED ME IN. from the very first page of book one I was just enthralled with the deliciously dark story KG has spun and I just couldn't get enough. I resurfaced when I needed to for silly things like feeding my children (they don't *need* to eat everyday, lmao. *totally kidding.*)) annd then like an addict, I was glued to my kindle seeing what Bianca and her men were up to. And booooyyy. My girl got in some sh*t. like all she wanted to to was escape her rapey step-dad and then she found herself trapped in an arranged marriage with an absolute PSYCHO, and then gained protection from the vicious kings. But to be fair, these guys are vicious for a reason, and nobody touches their girl except them. But daaammmnn this poor girl couldn't catch a break! Everyone and their damn dog was trying to kill her, and the one semi-normal person she found solace with even had a nefarious plan. Like cmon dudes-- let this girl live. And then everything came to head in the first book and that cliffy had me on pins and needles, but what came after in this book?! Holy f*ck.

From the very beginning of this book , the emotions ran even higher. My heart broke seeing B so shut down, but maaaann, these guys know how to grovel! I don't think I've read such a good grovel in a while, and my heart just went out to all of them in this situation. I loved how fierce Dom was in proving that he always had her best intentions at heart and never wanted to kill her, and that she has his heart and soul. Vinny, the sweetheart he is, did everything he could to worm back into her heart and seeing him break down when he thought all hope was lost just made me want to bundle him up. And Levin.. God that boo bear and my soul ACHING for him. I didn't love his story arc (if you know you know) but I get why he did it. But when he and B finally got past their sh*t, I swear they have the most beautiful relationship. And I don't say that lightly because I seriously love them all. Then there's Fallon, and omg, the way that man loves her, I swear. He feels so guilty because all he was doing was trying to save his sister and he never expected to fall for B, and when he did there was no clear cut way to save them both. But their reunion brought tears to my eyes and i loved how he proved himself not only to her, but to the rest of the kings as well. These men are all so different from one another, but they all make a family, both in their love for each other and B. I really loved how Dom is this hardass mafia dude, but he's so affectionate with his boys and B. It just makes me love him even more, and I need a full on peen vs peen scene in the last book!

Now the action -- OMG. Just when we thought we knew how something would turn out, psych ya didn't! So much happens (I mean this is an almost 600 page book) but I was just riveted until the last page. And then THEY SHOW UP. HOLY f*ck ME FREDDY. what are they doing here? What is going to happen to you know who? How will the Harem and B survive this? What will happen next?! I need all the answers like yesterday!!

Don't walk, just run your booties to the one click button. To say I'm obsessed with this series is putting it midly, and I barley scratched the surface with all that happens in these books. Just now if you like your romances a lot dark and twisted, this is for you!!

This book put me in a f*cking wringer! The first half kinda pissed me off, Bianca being a whiny bitch 🥴. Thankfully the storyline gets more and more engaging with all the drama, steam, angst and unfortunate occurrences 😬. I did not expect to have a cross-over character from different series, it just added more dynamic and fervour to the narrative. As usual, this book ends on a cliffy, but that's nothing new since this is by the torture queen, K.G. Reuss 🥺🖤.

I just finished reading Pretty Little Sins now, and I have been left reeling and in a puddle of a mess...

Magical!

With the first book ending on a cliffhanger of all cliffhangers, this book continues from that shocking ending and never lets up! The Kings have enemies on all fronts -- the rival Lords, the mafia wars, and a surprising new group. How about those boys from Black Falls High? All this intrigue compounded with a touch of discord inside the group while they protected and catered to their little wasp, Bianca.

But let's take a moment to talk about the spice. Hot! From the sexual tension, to the jealous-possessiveness, to the technique (where did you learn those motions? lol), this author crafted the sex with creativity and ingenuity. Phew!

Progressive pace with a gradual unveiling of events twisted in the unexpected, you never knew what is going to happened next, and you couldn’t look away. Just when you think you knew, the course diverted into a new path. This book was relentless, captivating, and the characters so complementary to the rich intricacies of the storyline that I can't wait for all the upcoming books. The Bolten boys or Black Falls High / Mayfair? I can't decide.

This book started Good, the whole serie was looking nice and I got shiny eyes to it, but jokes on me, this book suck so bad, I couldn't finish it dropped at 40% maybe? I don't really know, but I keep thinking like yeah he had orders to kill you, but you don't forgive him YET you forgive a guy who was taking you to a place where you'd be raped, like seriously the whole reason why she went to the kings was so the whole serial assault situation would stop but yeah let's forgive someone who's taking you to a place where you'd "sell" yourself and get raped over and over

And maybe it'd be okay since she didn't know about the rape part but really you'd forgive a guy who'd still sell you to a enemy hahaha yeah you're a dumb bit

This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

DNF series

**Review Shared for series**

"I will keep each and every single whisper you say to me close to my heart." book four pg. 323

I am not a huge fan of bully romances, but this was highly and frequently recommended in the facebook groups I am in. I was not prepared for the extent of bullying and darkness in the series. That being said, it's a great bully romance with unredeemable mmcs.. And I would never take stars away for a book being exactly what it claimed to be. That wasn't why I didn't finish the series.

Honestly, my problem with the series was that the main characters never seemed to get a win. I don't have a problem with dark romances, but I feel like there needs to be SOME good times to get us through. By the end of book four only part of the harem was together yet again there were some left out due to lies and betrayal. Also the amount of characters and who was actually working with who was getting far too confusing. The enemies just kept coming and nothing seemed to get resolved.

Also, I couldn't help but hate Bianca. I get that she keeps getting tossed around and doesn't have the connections or strength to fight back but.. I feel like she is strong when it's convenient for the plot and weak when she needs to be put in line to let the mmcs take advantage. Dom continued to go too far throughout the series and yet he is the one that gets to spend the most time with the fmc and keep the other people she loves at arms length.

I don't really like when the harem feels unbalanced, this one is exactly that. Dom is in charge of the harem and the other guys need his permission to touch Bianca.. *insert eyeroll* Girl is literally just his property throughout.

I ended up reading all of book one and two, I skipped like 70% of book three to see if I wanted to continue, got hooked towards the end with what was happening to Bianca, read book four, and then started book five and was just frustrated that the harem was split up once again. With a million enemies can the harem at least be together?

Hold onto your hats

Book 2 of Bolten is epic.
Bianca wakes to discover she has been rescued from the Lords - and is now a prisoner of the Kings. Everyone has an agenda and most of the motives in the book are more than highly questionable. We get more in-depth character development in this book, although it’s hard to be on par with the BFH/Mayfair crew at this point.

The world this crew lives in is dark. It is cruel. The underbelly of this shadow world is darker still. All are forced to ask themselves just how far they would go to save someone they love…and the answers are not pretty.

Ultimately, Bianca and the Kings are teens on the cusp of adulthood who are neck-deep in a very adult world and making very adult choices.

At this point, you’re probably aware of the crossover series. The crumbs from Mayfair are starting to pop up more frequently in this book. As with everything KG, this is attracts trigger warnings like a magnet.

This is a reread, and like the other books in the Chaosverse, this is even better on the second reading. Looking forward to the future of this series.

It's really awesome when an author takes a world and makes these characters. They have lives and start to become real in a sense. Then that same author writes another series and brings more characters to life and weaves those two worlds together. The world becomes an entire universe where all these characters exist. Sometimes that works, and sometimes it crashes and burns. This is one of those times where it not only worked but it made the story that much better. It's absolutely insane to me how each character has their own individual personality and none of them overlap or bleed into each other's persona. And omg that ending........

Pretty Little Sins

Gah... that cliffhanger!!! Please say it won't be so. I really hope things don't go how it seems. I love how K.G. is giving us crossovers in her universe. It's been a while since I've read about some these guys. I'll have to go back and refresh my memory on them. Can't wait for book 3. Crossing my fingers for B, Vin, Dom, Lev, and Fallon. The Lord's can fall off a cliff with daddy dearest. Hopefully the Kings and the Horsem*n come together to make that happen.

Can it get any better! Oh my god this second book sure had my emotions all over the place. The spice was legit 🔥 in this! Like your girl needs a fan to cool off! Also I was furious with a few certain somones in this one that I wanted to reach into my kindle and ....urg!!! You get the idea...but the real brutal part of it all is how our Queen of cliffhangers could do that to me in the end of this one 😫. I need the next one like right now! This series is definitely a TOP READ of the year!

Book 1 left us with such a big cliffhanger that book 2 started where it left off with just as much intensity! We continue to have more action, more spice, more emotion and more craziness. Was so happy for two particular things that happened. But the cliffhanger? Oh dear lord I’m starting book 3 right away! I don’t want to go in to any details of what went on because I don’t wanna spoil anything, but you just have to keep reading and reading because you can’t get enough.

The crossover plus the cliffhanger is to die for!

In my opinion, this book is not as dark as Dirty Little Secrets, but it’s still a dark RH book. Therefore, if you have triggers, don’t like/enjoy RH, or have slightly dipped your toes in the dark romance genre, this book is probably not the best to start with. It is not for the faint of heart. I strongly suggest visiting the author’s page to read all trigger warnings before jumping in.

The main characters are 18 but seem so much older. The content is very descriptive and graphic so it might make you uncomfortable at times if you’re not used to reading books with dark themes. If you are starting to read dark romance, I would recommend reading the Black Falls High series (Book 1 In Ruins: A Dark High School Bully Romance) first, since it’s also a RH, it’s super good and not as dark. Again, all triggers can be found in the author’s page.

The book picks up right after the end of book 1 so we get all the answers the cliffhanger left in its wake. We are still in Bolton Academy and the Kings and the Lords are constantly at each other’s throats with Bianca in the crossfire.

To summarize: Levin got on my nerves, Dom and Vinny have my heart, I want Dom’s dad dead, and the Lords are still aholes.

A bunch of things go down that had my head spinning. And oh, THE ENDING! OMG THE ENDING! Not to give anything away but we get a crossover with the horseman from Black Falls High!! (If you haven’t read the series go read it!). I loved seeing the two worlds collide and how each interacted. I can’t want to see more of these characters together in Book 3 Deadly Little Promises: A Dark Bully Romance and in May We Rise: A Dark College Bully Romance

Overall, I LOVED this book. It was a super quick read. Multiple POV. The pacing was good, and the twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat the whole time! I can’t wait to read the next installment!

Prepare for a book hangover from hell.

Dirty Little Secrets left off with an explosive cliffhanger and Pretty Little Sins picks up where it left off.

Bianca is faced with having to make some hard decisions and many times doesn’t get a choice but she continues and fights through the resulting consequences. She is a strong FMC. As in the previous book and the start of this book, her relationship with Levin, or lack there of, hurt. But in this book we see her swallow her hurt and pride and fight for him and to be with him as she is with Dom, Vin and even Fallon.

Fallon had it hard on this book. Stuck between being in the Lords and the expectations of that group, plus, his Russian connections. But he takes the risk because he loves Bianca. Things are specially hard because the Kings aren’t exactly open arms with him. He still has his work cutout for him.

Love, love, love that we get the appearance of the Horsem*n - Enzo, Cole, Fox and Ethan. They are now in their Mayfair University years. It’s fun to see how each group initially interacts with each other and we get a taste of Cole and Enzo in mafia mode.

K.G. yet again weaves her magic in her writing. The way she is able to bring these characters and their world to life and then cross all the different series together is mind-boggling. This book, of course, ends on another cliffhanger and I can’t wait for book 3, Deadly Little Promises.

Honestly… I can’t continue…. The MFC just annoys the sh*t out of me…. She so whiny… the guys keep saying she’s so strong and has such “fight”… but she doesn’t….. I’m disappointed I didn’t enjoy this as much as I’d like. The spice scenes were still great tho!
I will add that the author is great at writing tho, this book just turned out not to be for me.

I love the plot but I don't like a whiny FMC but the whole book kept me engaged. KG put me through the wringer once again and I couldn't but my book down. Bianca can be fearless but she just cried to much. I can't wait to see what this author brings to the table!

Dirty Little Secrets ended with an explosive cliffy that Pretty Little Sins continues. Right from the start, things are happening and don’t stop until the last page. KG Reuss killed it with the second installment of Kings of Bolten and showed us once again why she’s one of the Queens of Cliffhangers.

Bianca is forced to make some tough decisions, sometimes she doesn’t even get a choice, and ultimately lives through the consequences. She’s growing up and growing stronger because of everything she’s going through and becoming one hell of a FMC to root for. Sometimes you’re gonna want to scream and hit her, especially when you read what happens between her and Levin and it takes her a while to swallow her pride and fear and admit some hard truths to herself and everyone else but when she does, it’s a huge relief. I felt like I was going through everything right along with her. I felt Bianca’s pain, happiness, sadness, and love. And not just Bianca’s, Reuss writes in such a way that you become extremely attached and invested in the characters and their story so you feel like you’re really along for the ride. I did not want this book to end and am eagerly awaiting Deadly Little Promises.

I really felt for Fallon in this book. He’s in a dangerous and tricky situation but he does it because his love for Bianca trumps all. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with Dominic who is the ultimate alpha with psychotic possessive tendencies but he loves Bianca so much that he’d do literally anything to make her happy.

Reuss also cranks up the heat in this book and we get to see some one on one along with group scenes which were hot as hell. I can’t wait for more of that. Book 2 is definitely spicier than book 1 and I can’t wait to see if book 3 is even hotter. I really hope so!

The angst and drama is also turned up. Especially with the Horsem*n from Black Falls High entering the scene. If you haven’t read Black Falls High series yet, I definitely recommend that. We’re reunited with Cole, Fox, Ethan and Enzo. We get to see how much more unhinged Cole has become after a few years of working as Enzo’s right hand man which made for a crazy intense cliffy, and even though I hate what happened (you’ll understand why when you read it), I also loved it. It was hard to read because we love the Kings and we also love the Horsem*n, but I couldn’t stop reading. I’m hoping and have my fingers crossed for an alliance between the Kings and the Horsem*n to take off everyone else from the board since they have the same enemies and a lot in common in regards to being involved in the same type of illegal underground and being the harem of the woman they’re obsessed with. Pretty sure it won’t be hard for them to find common ground if they gave it even minimum effort.

Favorite quote “F***, these pants are made of protein!”

This was for sure a 5 star read for me.

🔥Pretty Little Sins🔥
Kings of Bolten #2

Wow. That's all that my brain can push out right now, because WHAT did I just read?

This second installment picks up just days after where book 1 (Dirty Little Secrets) left off. You won't want to miss the angst and turmoil brewing, because it never stops. Page turning book, maximum level.

Bianca, is once again forced to do something she just avoided in Dirty Little Secrets, but does she regret it? I'm not saying things go from rough seas to smooth sailing. Big fat NOPE. The author has intricately woven secrets on top of secrets and dire situations get more complicated.

Bianca is the type of heroine I want as a reader. She grows, admits to mistakes and grows from them. She is not in the TSTL category. She is a survivor and will fight for what she wants. #teamBianca

As for the boys? Be still my heart. Tormented, broody, tough, determined and in love. Not the sweet kind of love, but the kind that hurts, a lot. You will feel a lot of different emotions while reading this book. Don't give up. I promise the journey is worth it.

War between many will begin. In a very abstract way, I get Helen of Troy vibes with an actual person being the Trojan horse. That's the beauty of this book and the way it is written. The story and characters have progressed in their journey, but so much has yet to be revealed. You will learn quickly why the author is known as the queen of cliffy's.

As for spice? This one was kicked up a few notches. Somebody call the FD, my Kindle is on fire. 49% in. That's all I'm saying.

We are also introduced to the horsem*n from The Black Falls series. They become players, so if you haven't read it yet, what are you waiting for? The horsem*n are now in college and all grown up. They are the danger lurking in the shadows.

The cliffhanger is made of epic proportions. Though, if you follow the author on TT, she's left a breadcrumb trail of hints.

Written in 1st POV with multiple POV's.

Please note: the release dates on 'Zon are placeholders. This book will be released in June 2022.

Another multiple partner story.

The author's writing is not too bad, but some stuff does not add. Bianca and the four males she loves are Dominic, the leader, Vincent, Levin, and Fallon. They are all unique with different personalities. The sex is hot, although I do not like reverse harem romances. If I had known it was a story with multiple partners, I would not start the series. I read the two books in the series because I was curious about the plot and the storyline. The males are ok; their characters are well described; however, the female I was a little annoyed with sometimes, her stubbornness would get her in trouble; other times, she would alternate between childish, whiney, and spoiled. These are teenagers that act like an adult. And they are the mafia. I do not appreciate mafia books, although the story contains more bullying than the mafia. The two stars are because the third book will be released next year; if I remember the story and the date of release of the book, I might finish the series. However, it is not a memorable and remarkable story that I absolutely will want to wait to read. The book is about one girl and four hot, mean guys. The girl is beautiful, and everyone at school wants her, and she has the four boys fighting for her. The author, to make the story more interesting, includes in her writing wicked mixed things happening to the girl and boys, some violence, an almost rape, dehumanizing scenes that are truly disgusting, and hateful and dysfunctional parents. I skimmed throughout the book because I just wanted to read certain scenes and avoid others and wanted to reach the point of the storyline. It is no secret what the third will be about. The horseman and the kings forge an allegiance to fight against their enemies. The reading will be interesting how the alliance is developed, and I can visualize the entire book. There is no novelty to the story.

In Pretty Little Sins, waking up bound to a bed marks just the beginning of a thrilling descent into the shadowy realms of power, secrets, and desire. The protagonist's dirty little secret has ignited a dangerous game, and the Kings, ruthless and unforgiving, are the puppet masters pulling the strings.

As the conflict intensifies, the arrival of the Lords adds a new layer to the treacherous tableau. It's no longer just a war between two sides; it's a battle where alliances shift like quicksand and loyalty is a scarce commodity. The protagonist, once a nobody, rises to the role of a queen, ready to unleash a storm to protect her kingdom.

Pretty Little Sins isn't just about survival; it's a seductive dance where danger lurks in every lingering gaze and whispered promise. With the foreboding warning to read the foreword before proceeding, the reader is beckoned into a narrative where the boundaries between pleasure and peril blur.

This mature academy dark romance, with its tantalizing mix of crime, suspense, and the complexities of a reverse harem, delivers a narrative that's as enigmatic as it is alluring. Brace yourself for a rollercoaster of emotions, where sinners play wicked games, and the price of desire is paid in pretty little sins. Are you ready to descend into the heart of darkness?

K.G. Reuss knows what she is doing when she writes these books because OMG! Before I continue, I want to point out that this book or should I say series (or even all the books K.G. Reuss writes) has some heavy triggers that you should probably check out before reading. Especially if you aren't use to dark shiii! 😈
Oh I do also want to mention that in this book there is a crossover of characters from K.G. Reuss's other series Black Falls High. I recommend that you read that series before starting this one. Pretty Little Sins practically starts off where Dirty Little Secrets ends. And what follows is flucken crazy epic! Dominic is a wet dream that just keeps on giving. Levin....that man has my black heart! 🖤 And the F word!!!!! 🤯 There was spice in this book that was book drool worthy but what took that cake in my opinion was all the flucken fuuny af scenes. Like...I don't know how to explain it without giving away any spoilers. So you will just have to read the book to understand what I mean. It was hilarious. I'm just going to mention one thing and hope that after you read the book, that you remember this review and laugh at what I mean by it. Or all of it! lol ....LEOPARD! 😈 This book was really freaken good! The ending though.....total mind fluck! But in a good way of course lol...or not! You'll see! I wish I could like read the book again as if it was my first time because it was that amazing. Anywho, I hope you enjoy this book as much as I would like to stab a knife through Dominic's fathers' chest! 🖤
Happy Reading! 😈

Wow!!!! I'm speechless!!! KG Reuss has blown me away yet again!!

Pretty Little Sins is book #2 in the Kings of Bolten series. Its a dark reverse harem. Make sure to read the Trigger Warning!!!

We pick up where we left off in Dirty Little Secrets. Bianca is heartbroken and doesn't trust Dom, Vincent and Levin. She is forced into something that she was already running away from.

There are so many secrets and lies, things get pretty crazy, and we get some POVs from all of them. I don't wanna give anything away, you are just gonna have to read it.

I love Bianca. She is such a strong, amazing FMC and I just adore her.

Dom, my bloody love, grew on me so much in this book. His POVs and the things he would think about his wasp, ugh my heart!!

Vincent will always be my #1 love in this harem. He won't stop until he has his Baby Bs love and I just wanted to hug him!

Levin says he isnt good at showing his emotions, but the way he spilled his feelings to Bianca is so freaking sweet. Even though I wanted to shake him sometimes in this book 😂

And when my favorite Horsem*n started getting mentioned, i was squealing!!! I am so excited to see my two favorite series come together!!

The spice in Pretty Little Sins is Kindle melting, panty moistening hot!! I am OBSESSED!!

In true KG fashion, she throws us off a cliffhanger that will have you screaming, maybe crying and possibly emotionally damaged.

I am so in love with this series. If you haven't read it yet, what are you waiting for!!!

Holy crap this book was amazing. This is Book 2 in the Kings of Bolten Series, and they need to be read in order. We begin this book right where Book 1 ends. With that being said this book will also end with a cliffhanger but be prepared to go on one hell of a ride to get there.
I ran the emotional gauntlet with this book. I can't count the number of times that I found myself laughing at this book. There was a scene with the F word that had me laughing so hard I was crying. Don't let the fact that I was laughing a lot fool you because there were times, I wanted to throw my iPad across the room. I think the only thing that saved it is the fact that I have a big bed and could toss it towards the end of the bed when I found myself wanting to strangle them for their stubbornness and stupidity. Besides tears of happiness, I also had tears of sadness. Tears shed from feeling like my heart was breaking and being ripped from my chest.
There's just so much I want to say about this book, but I don't want to give away any spoilers. So, what I can safely say is you think you know but you don't know. Be prepared for a page-turning adventure that will have you wondering what is going to happen next. Not to mention the crossover - mind-blowing! I can't wait for the next book to release!
Go out and buy this book now! Remember it ends on a cliffhanger and you need to read Book 1 before starting this book. A complete list of triggers for the book and series can be found on the authors website.

So I'm going backwards on my reviews of this series (lol). I just posted my review for book three, first and am now doing book two.

So this book picks up right where the first one ended, thankfully. I don't like when books don't pick up where they ended. And believe me there have been some books that I've read where the author picks up a few months down the road, anywho I degress. Yay, so here in book two we pick up right where we left off.

So Bianca..... I liked her in book one.... But girl you started annoying me in this book. Not sure exactly it was but it was small stuff.

The guys.... Domonic, your becoming a bit overbearing and pushy on certain things it's starting me to not like you. I know your just trying to keep Bianca protected, but yeah.... Levin, yeah not quite sure what about you... Fallon, your alright I am hoping that you can keep on the right side, but we shall see..... Ahhhh Vincent, whats not to like about you?

So this book gets a little bit intense at parts and I would definitely saying that if you have Triggers, than head the warning at the beginning of this book. Look I have No Triggers and found that this was comparatively light to what I consider dark. But I will admit this series probably does have some triggers for some. I liked seeing the appearances of The Horsem*n in this book also.

I'm giving this book 3.5 Stars out of 5!!!!
